Ascent High-Rise in Victory Park: Full Tour, Amenities, and Floor Plans
If you're researching high-rise living in Dallas, the Ascent Residences in Victory Park should be on your radar. This 22-story luxury building, built in 2017, offers a prime spot just five minutes north of downtown Dallas, directly across from the American Airlines Center. Whether you're into sports, concerts, or just want to be in the heart of urban Dallas, Ascent brings a lot to the table. Let's dive into what makes this building stand out, from amenities to floor plans and everything in between.
Location & Building Overview
Ascent Residences sits in the vibrant Victory Park neighborhood, a hub for entertainment and city living. With the American Airlines Center right across the street, residents have easy access to Dallas Stars and Mavericks games, plus major concerts and events. The building features a 24-hour concierge, and leasing office hours run Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays).
While there's no valet parking, residents have access to a five-level parking garage. Visitors can park on the second floor or behind the gate, while resident parking is on floors 3 through 5. Residential units begin on the 6th floor and go up to the 22nd, with penthouses occupying the top level. The ground floor is home to Moono, an upscale Italian restaurant that has been getting positive buzz.
Amenities at Ascent
Ascent offers a well-rounded amenities package spread throughout the building:
- 6th & 7th Floors: Main resident lounge (Double M Lounge), pool, lounge areas, and business center. The Double M Lounge has a cozy, cabin-inspired vibe with wood accents, taxidermy, and fur rugs. It’s equipped with a pool table, dart board, TVs, and plenty of seating—great for working from home or relaxing.
- Outdoor Pool Area: Large patio, outdoor fire pit, and lots of seating. The pool area is active on weekends, often hosting resident events like summer bashes with food and DJs.
- 20th Floor: Fitness center, golf simulator, yoga studio, and additional lounge space. The golf simulator is popular, so it’s smart to reserve in advance if you plan to use it with friends.
Fitness Facilities
The gym is clean and tidy, but may feel limited for those who prefer heavy lifting or a wide variety of equipment. It includes ellipticals, treadmills, and lighter barbells—suitable for casual workouts. The yoga studio, with floor-to-ceiling windows and lots of natural light, offers medicine balls, ropes, and bikes for a more flexible fitness routine.
Floor Plans & Unit Features
Ascent offers one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and penthouse units. Here’s a closer look at two featured floor plans:
- One-Bedroom (A6B): Just over 900 square feet and, at the time of filming, listed just under $2,300 per month. Features include a large kitchen island, engineered hardwood in common areas, carpeted bedrooms, stainless steel appliances, a wine fridge, in-unit washer and dryer, and a Nest Wi-Fi thermostat. This unit also includes a private patio with city views and dual vanities in the bathroom. Note: Pricing and availability can change, so always verify current details before making decisions.
- Two-Bedroom (B1 Anie): Over 1,000 square feet and designed to be ADA compliant. A highlight is that both bedrooms have attached bathrooms with dual vanities, making it convenient for roommates or those who want a dedicated office space. The B1 is similar to the B4 layout, with the main difference being accessibility features.
Resident Experience & Community
Ascent fosters a lively community, especially around the pool and resident lounge. Events like summer parties are common, and the location makes it easy to enjoy everything Victory Park and downtown Dallas have to offer. If you work from home or want a social environment, the amenities and shared spaces are a strong plus.
Tips for Prospective Residents
As an apartment locator in Dallas, I often help clients find additional incentives or move-in bonuses not always advertised to the public. If you’re considering Ascent or any other Dallas high-rise, it’s worth reaching out for up-to-date information on pricing, availability, and current specials. My services are complimentary to renters, as compensation comes from the property, not you.
